A Ghana fan brutally trolled a group of South Korea supporters to their face after his side's World Cup goal.

The Black Stars picked up their first points of the tournament on Monday with a 3-2 win, thanks to a goal from Mohammed Salisu and two from Mohammed Kudus. They had been given a scare before Kudus grabbed the winner, though, with South Korea fighting back from two goals down to level the match.

After Kudus' second goal, one Ghana fan in the crowd was caught on camera celebrating in front of a group of opposition supporters sat behind him.

The fan could be seen shouting and gesturing towards the South Korea fans, holding up a scarf and displaying the 3-2 scoreline with his fingers. He also exclaimed: “We can win this tournament!”

His antics did not appear to provoke the South Korea fans, though, who awkwardly smiled in front of him whilst trying to continue watching the match.

Ghana's dramatic victory was their first at a World Cup since they beat the USA in extra-time in the round of 16 back in 2010.

The result has also boosted their chances of reaching the knockout stages of this year's tournament, having lost their opener to Portugal. A win over Uruguay in their final match on Friday will guarantee Ghana's progression from the group.

Speaking after the victory, match-winner Kudus explained, via Sport Bible: “It's a good feeling. We wanted the three points and we got them.

"Everyone was absolutely on top of their game today. They came back to 2-2, we had to come up with more energy and it happened.

“I want to thank all my teammates, it's a team game and they all played a part in my performance. The cross-in from Jordan [Ayew] and the cut-back from Inaki [Williams]. Big up to everyone because everyone played a part.”

As for the crucial match against Uruguay, he added: “We're fully confident. We came in with the same mentality, we'll go in with 100%.”
