Amanda Kloots’ new book is changing lives already.

Ever since Covid-19 unleashed its wrath on the health of her husband, Nick Cordero, and caused his death in 2020, the 41-year-old Broadway star has been slowly learning to juggle life and grief effectively in search of hope for herself and their son, Elvis, who turns three soon.

Kloots, who didn’t collapse in heartache, decided to help other families, especially parents, deal with grief with their children. She is doing a tremendous job, according to the emotional testimonies of fans that read her new book.

Several months after she launched her new children’s book, “Tell Me Your Dreams,” the American television personality uses her Instagram account to share beautiful messages from people admitting that the book benefited their families.

One testimony came from a fan who lost her kid’s father “10 days” after Nick died. After reading it, they admitted that the book brought closure to their three and five-year-olds. The fan shared that the kids are “excited to know another kid is also on the same journey.”

In response, the “Bullets Over Broadway” star wrote, “You just never know how something you create will help someone else. This beautiful message reminded me how important it is to share our stories to feel less alone and know that other people, even little kiddos, share our journey. ❤️‍?.”

Many fans with the same sentiment flooded the Instagram post with encouraging comments. One user tagged her then wrote, “You have touched so many.” Another fan penned, “It’s amazing how sharing your grief has helped so many people; I hope you are proud of your courage ?.”

Including four red heart emojis, a fan noted that they are pleased to know that the mom of one is changing lives. They wrote, “Great message- and you are lovely, and you do read the messages. How wonderful to know that you are making a difference in the lives of others-especially children!”

“The Talk” co-host reposted the emotional message to her IG Story with an open caption asking everyone to share their stories to reduce loneliness. Kloots wrote, “This is why sharing our stories is so important it makes us feel less alone. Loneliness can be the worst feeling in the world, and we all deal with it, even children. ❤️❤️❤️.”

The “Fit for Christmas” actress acknowledged another supporter’s testimony on her IG Story. The words on the update read, “My daughter read your book today while I did her hair for ballet and was so excited to think about her dreams tonight. She said GG (my gram) would pick her up and take her to ice cream land. I can’t wait to hear how it went. Thank you for this gem.” 

Kloots’ new book getting a lot of buzz and good feedback from fans, brought us to Last month when the “Tell Me Your Dreams” author divulged the inspiration behind launching her first children’s book on dealing with grief.

The “Dancing with the Stars” contestant speaking on what she hoped readers would get from the colorful pages, said to her CBS show’s audience, “It’s tough sometimes for adults to talk to children about death and how to incorporate it. It’s a tough subject; you don’t know how to do it.”

“Like ‘you know what, this person is gone, but let’s pretend that they get to visit you in your dreams and you get to go on adventures that only you get to go on with these people,'” the TV host concluded.

The Broadway Star Is Preparing For Her Son’s Impending Grief Of His Father

Since her new children’s book help parents to incorporate children into the discussion of grief, it was not surprising that she is gearing up for when her three-year-old son begins to grieve his dad’s passing correctly.

During an interview, the doting mother,  who has not had to “deal too much” with the three-year-old boy’s grief, reflected on his reaction to conversations of his father’s passing, saying:

“There have been some times where he has gotten sad where we’re talking about Nick, and he says, ‘But Dada died.’ And then he’ll get very, very sad, which is heartbreaking as a parent, obviously.”

She added, “It’s coming, and that’ll be a whole new layer for me and my grief and helping him get through that and understanding that. So that’s coming up for me. I know it’s not probably too long away.”
