Keke Palmer Styled a Sheer Metallic Dress With Clear Heels For “The Tonight Show”

Keke Palmer just nailed a major summer trend: the naked dress. Clad in a look from the Prada fall 2022 runway, the actress stunned as a guest on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” She wore a sheer gray metallic midi dress in crushed satin with a skirt embellished with orange beads fashioned to look like leaves. The top half featured Prada’s triangular logo in a black-and-silver plaque. Underneath, Palmer layered a white fitted tank and high-waist black briefs.
On her feet, the Prada Logo Clear Slide Sandals matched the dress perfectly, while Palmer’s smoky blue eyeliner, soft-glam makeup, silver hoops, and minimal rings were theme-appropriate finishes. A similar version of Palmer’s dress was recently seen on Dua Lipa, who graced the July 2022 Vogue cover. Embracing the new naked dress trend, the 28-year-old star joins other celebrity tastemakers like Lipa, Maude Apatow, Kim Kardashian, Kerry Washington, and Vanessa Hudgens, who all wore embellished sheer gowns to the 2022 Met Gala.
Palmer’s Prada moment comes shortly after she pulled off another popular summer trend: the polarizing low-rise skirt. She wowed at the “NOPE” premiere in Los Angeles on Monday, July 18, in a fierce Marc Jacobs ensemble comprised of a white corset top and black maxi skirt.
She discussed her latest project when she joined Jimmy Fallon in New York City the following day, the horror movie “NOPE,” directed by Jordan Peele. She also talked about working with the Vice President Kamala Harris and laughed at her reaction to seeing a photo of Dick Cheney.
