Justin Hartley’s Post-‘This Is Us’ Project ‘The Never Game’ Gets Green Light at CBS
It looks like Justin Hartley will be back on the small screen soon, as CBS has greenlit The Never Game.
According to Deadline, the series is set to be an off-season premiere series.
The Never Game underwent a writer change in the spring, with Ben Winters replacing Michael Cooney, who had been attached when the pitch was sold last fall. Since the change, the project has been on a fast track for a pilot pickup.
Based on Jeffery Deaver’s novel, The Never Game centers on lone-wolf survivalist Colter Shaw, who roams the country as a “reward seeker,” using his expert tracking skills to help private citizens and law enforcement to solve all manner of mysteries while contending with his own fractured family.
Justin will star and executive produce the project with Ken Olin, who will also direct.
