Kobalt Picks Peach PRC For Global Publishing Deal: Exclusive

On the heels of his chart debut and the release of his 14 track album Ethereal, $NOT’s hefty deal with Kobalt will help the artist with creative and with collecting royalties. In a statement to Billboard, $NOT notes that Kobalt’s “technology is second to none” and that the team “fully understands [his] needs.”

$NOT was represented in this deal by attorney Roger Cramer. Other members of his team include manager Jake Markow and 300 Entertainment (which was recently sold to Warner Music Group for $400 million).

“It was important for us to find a home where $NOT’s vision and goals would be prioritized,” says Markow. “And we felt that Jill and the rest of the Kobalt team were on the same page as us. We’re excited to take this next step in $NOT’s career and grow his publishing business with Kobalt.”

Jill Tschogl, Kobalt’s vp of creative adds, “it’s impressive what $Not has been able to accomplish in a short time. He’s an artist you can’t put in a box and a star in the making. We are excited to support him as he continues to rise, and support his goals of writing across genres.”
