Jinkx’s Snatch Game Performance And 19 More Moments We Loved From “All Stars 7”

***Spoilers ahead if you have not watched the finale***

World of Wonder

1. The Platinum Plunger

World of Wonder/Paramount+

Come on now… Our expectations were high after her impersonation of Little Edie on Season 5, but Jinkx blew this performance out of the water. It was show-stopping, incredible, talented, brilliant, etc. There are so many quotable moments here. “Broom?” “Is that my camera?” I had to stop and catch my breath from laughing so hard. Jinkx truly proved herself as the Queen of Snatch Game. We bow to thee!

4. Raja’s Finale Runway

World of Wonder/Paramount+

All season long Raja proved over and over that she is THE fashion queen. Her final runway look was top toot of the week, might I even say a SHOOT. The aquatic alien-like gown paired with yellow contacts is breathtaking. She came back to remind us who she is, and her print on the runway will last forever. As she says, “Legendary is an understatement.”

5. Vivienne’s Dolly Lip Sync

World of Wonder/Paramount+

Though we didn’t get the explosive “Disco T*ts” lip sync that we deserved with Tove Lo (am I saying that correctly?) as guest judge, we got something even better. Viv’s Dolly illusion was scary accurate. The dress, the makeup, and the hair was all Dolly to the T. What blew this lip sync out if the water was her characterization. It was as if we were watching Dolly herself on the main stage. It was her moment…and she had it.

6. Monét’s Talent Show

World of Wonder/Paramount+

Whoa. I mean WHOA. I knew Monét could sing, but I didn’t know she could sing like THAT. The world stood still the day she sang… I was feeling that operatic bass in the tips of my toes. All over body chills. This was definitely a standout moment; you could even say she soaked it up. And she soaked up that three-star win, henny! This performance catapulted Monét into the lead, landing her five stars and a guaranteed spot in the finale.

7. Jinkx’s Roast

World of Wonder/Paramount+

Girl, she had the jokes! The jokes were there. I saw the jokes, and they were jokes. This performance was a masterclass in cooking. This…imaginary event? I was moved to tears. Jinkx’s ability to captivate a room is undeniable, and this was one of five challenges that she completely dominated. It is clear why she was the most blocked queen of the season.

8. Jaida/Trinity Double Design Win

World of Wonder/Paramount+

The fashion girls were fashioning. Jaida and Trinity squared off not once but TWICE as the winners of the two design challenges. If there’s one thing drag race viewers love, it’s a rematch. On top of that, they each won one of these lip syncs. If only there was one more design challenge so we could break the tie… GIRL, I LIVE!

9. Yvie’s Bald Cap Reveal

World of Wonder/Paramount+

In the ‘Lip Sync Smackdown for the She Done Already Done Had Herses Crown’ (no I didn’t just make those words up) Yvie gooped us with a major surprise. Her wig appeared to slide off, revealing a bald wig cap. She then proceeded to remove said wig cap revealing ANOTHER wig underneath it. It was a fresh new take on the classic Roxxxy Andrews wig removal trick, but unfortunately it was not enough to impress RuPaul in the lip sync.

10. Shea’s Talent Show

World of Wonder/Paramount+

Never count out Shea Couleé. In the final challenge she slayed house down boots to her original song. She owns the stage. The spirit of Janet possessed her body. Shea’s performance was so powerful that she went from last place to finalist in a matter of 45 seconds.

11. Get a Star, Give a Star

World of Wonder/Paramount+

We were all shocked in Episode 5 when it was revealed that the challenge winners would receive two stars: one to keep, and one to give away. Raja gave her star to Yvie, and Jinkx gave her star to Jaida. This was added an interesting layer to the game, and it was disappointing that we didn’t see it more than once. There were so many opportunities here to push alliances and teamwork. But alas…everyone was just there to have a good time and showcase their amazing talents.

12. Raja’s Snatch Game

World of Wonder/Paramount+

One of the biggest surprises this season was Raja’s comedy chops. Many fans felt she was deserving of a top two spot for the Snatch Game, and I completely agree. Her more obscure characters Madame and Diana Vreeland were perfect choices, and she effortlessly transformed herself into them. A true chameleon queen. Those puppet arms still haunt my dreams to this day.

13. Raja’s Ball Runway

World of Wonder/Paramount+

New friends silver…old friends gold (not an age joke). Perhaps one of the biggest upsets of the season was the lack of recognition for Raja’s creation in the Ball challenge. Her second runway wasn’t as strong? I don’t wanna hear it! She deserved a legendary legend star for this legendary look. The amount of skill and work that went into this look is…greater than I can comprehend.

14. The Twinner Alliance

World of Wonder/Paramount+

Wonder twins, activate! If you weren’t aware, Monét and Trinity share the title of All Stars 4 winners. Not only that, but they are IRL besties. It was fun to watch a pair play All Stars as if it were Survivor or Big Brother. They included strategy, secrets, gameplay, and overall made it very fun for the audience at home. It was a great reward seeing both queens make it to the top four. Twinners 4 Life.

15. Monet’s Final Lip Sync

World of Wonder/Paramount+

You know what? Let’s talk about it. In the final lip sync for the crown, Monét gave one of the BEST lip sync performances of all time. It was 10 out of 10. Boots the house down yass queen. If the finale was purely based off of lip sync, Monet may have taken the crown. The song was “Swish Swish,” and she gave us nothing but net.

16. The Big Bad Wolf

World of Wonder/Paramount+

Everybody felt that, right? Yvie is famously…hot. And apparently well endowed! Hey, they talked about it all season long; it’s not off limits. You could even feel the tension from her cast mates onscreen during the fairy-tale improv challenge. Something about that wolf costume and character had us all shaking in our boots, or straw houses I should say. This magnetic performance was definitely deserving of a star.

17. Shea’s Girl Group Verse

World of Wonder/Paramount+

If there’s one thing Shea’s is gonna do, it’s eat up a girl group challenge. What a way to open the season. Shea shines when she’s onstage, and she carried that energy all the way through the lip sync, winning her the iconic platinum plunge of the season.

18. The Talent Show Twist

World of Wonder/Paramount+

The twist in the final challenge gagged us. The winners of the talent show were rewarded with THREE stars, allowing whoever won to jump straight to the finale. I mean this was some Mario Party bonus star buffoonery. Two stars may have been a bit more balanced, but who am I to say that?! I’m not RuPaul! We would have loved to see more opportunities like this throughout the season. Wouldn’t it have been fun to see the girls be able to steal stars?

19. The Queen of She Done Already Done Had Herses

World of Wonder/Paramount+

Our first ever ‘Queen of She Done Already Done Had Herses’ is *drumroll please* RAJA! The queens who did not qualify for the finale competed in a separate lip sync smackdown for a $50,000 prize. Raja took the crown and took our hearts. Impressively, Raja also won three out of four of her lip syncs. Old-school winners stay winning!

20. Our Queen of All Queens

World of Wonder/Paramount+

There we have it, folks. Our first EVER two-time winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race is none other than Jinkx Monsoon. She came to slay, obliterated the competition, and left no crumbs. She truly proved that she has it all. Jinkx Monsoon, you will ALWAYS be famous. Condragulations my dear, and please don’t get hit by any more cars any time soon!
