It’s Been Four Months, But We Finally Have Will Smith Explaining What Happened The Night Of The Oscars Slap
Will Smith addressed slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars in a new YouTube video.

I’ve reached out to Chris, and the message that came back is that he is not ready to talk — and when he is, he will reach out,” Will said.
Will Smith / Via youtube.com“I will say to you, Chris: I apologize to you. My behavior was unacceptable and I’m here whenever you’re ready to talk,” he continued before extending an apology to Chris’s family.

Jada had nothing to do with it. I’m sorry, babe,” he said before apologizing to his family for the “heat” that the incident brought on.

It hurts me psychologically and emotionally to know I didn’t live up to people’s image and impression of me.
