The terms of the settlement are unknown given the terms are most likely sealed per their agreement.

According to a report from TMZ, Lidia Matiss, the person bitten by Junior, is suing Cesar after his dog attacked her.

Matiss claims that in 2017 she went to an office building owned by Cesar. Her mother was an employee of his and when she entered the building to go see her mother Junior was roaming the halls unsupervised and unleashed.

The office is located in Van Nuys, California.

The Pit Bull Derailed Her Gymnastics Career

At the time, Matiss was a promising young Gymnast who performed at a Level 10, which is the highest rank in the USA Gymnastics Junior Olympics program.

She claims that upon entering the building she came “face-to-face” with Junior and he attacked her. He allegedly lunged at her and started biting her legs, more specifically her left calf.

Matiss went to the ER and was met with some very unfortunate news. The injuries she sustained were severe and she would no longer to be able to compete.

The gymnast says she was being actively recruited by the University of Pennsylvania, but those dreams were shattered after the attack.

Matiss also claims she was unable to perform after the attack due to the extreme pain she was enduring.

She also claims Cesar knew Junior was aggressive and had a history of violence biting several people and mauling several dogs.

However, Cesar didn’t see it that way and would often times let the dog have free rein of the office building.

Here’s where the story takes an even wilder turn.

Junior Reportedly Mauled Queen Latifah’s Dog

Matiss goes on to claim Junior mauled a dog owned by Queen Latifah.

The lawsuit states Queen Latifah brought two of her pooches to Cesar’s Dog Psychology Center in Santa Clarita, California. Matiss claims Junior mauled one of her dogs to death and Cesar COVERED IT UP!

She says he covered it up by telling his staff to tell Queen Latifah that the dog was hit and killed by a car.

Per TMZ, the renowned dog trainer filed an answer to the lawsuit. He claims Matiss assumed the risk of being bitten because she knew of the danger. He also claims Lidia herself was negligent, but did not go into detail.

Matiss says the attack left her perpetually wounded and disfigured. She suffers psychological and emotional pain, and is suing Cesar for unspecified damages.

Cesar was also sued by a Florida woman in 2015 after a dog he trained at his Dog Psychology Center attacked her.

Alison Britney claims she was attacked by a dog named Gus just six days after he was released from the Center. She suffered “disfiguring open wounds, deep muscle and tendon lacerations” and bone fractures from the attack.
