Shawn Mendes ‘Heartbroken’ After Delivering Horrible News!
Have some mercy on Shawn Mendes.
The singer is going through a really rough time and needs to focus on his mental health.
He’s decided to cancel the remaining show dates for the. North America and UK / European legs of his “Wonder: The World Tour.”
Shawn Mendes Cancels World Tour Indefinitely
Shows were scheduled through August 2023.
Earlier this month, The Blast reported that the “In My Blood” singer had hit “a breaking point” and would need to postpone his world tour.
Well now, that breaking point has reached a shattering point.
Mendes took to Instagram on Wednesday, July 27, to announce the news no fan ever wants to hear.
Shawn’s “Breaking Point” Reached A Shattering Point
He started out the lengthy message, “As you guys know, I had to postpone the past few weeks of shows since I wasn’t totally prepared for the toll that being back on the road would take on me. I started this tour excited to finally get back to playing live after a long break due to the pandemic, but the reality is I was not at all ready for how difficult touring would be after this time away.”
Mendes explained that he spoke with a group of health professionals and it became apparent he needed to take a major step back from the tour.

“It has become more clear that I need to take the time I’ve never taken personally, to ground myself and come back stronger,” he wrote. “I unfortunately have to cancel the rest of the tour dates in North American, and the UK / Europe. We were hopeful that I might be able to pick up with the rest of the dates after some much needed time off, but at this time I have to put my health as my first priority.”
Shawn Feels Heartbroken For Having To Cancel Tour
He reassured fans this tour cancellation doesn’t mean he will hit pause on making new music.
“I can’t wait to see you on tour in the future. I know you all have been waiting so long to see these shows, and it breaks my heart to tell you this but I promise I will be back as soon as I’ve taken the right time to heal,” he said before concluding, “I love you all and thank you all so much for supporting me and sticking by me on this journey.”
Many of his verified followers were quick to praise him and show support.
“Proud of you for doing what’s right for your wellbeing ❤️❤️❤️ we’re with you,” Jay Shetty replied.
Tommy Hilfiger wrote, “We admire your courage and fully support you, Shawn. Sending our love ❤️.”
“Health always comes first. Sending the best energy your way,” Leroy Sanchez commented.
Of course, his fans were also quick to inundate his comments section with love, support and healing vibes.
As previously mentioned, earlier in July, Mendes revealed he hit a “breaking point” and admitted his decision to go back on tour was “premature.”
In April 2022, fans of the “There’s Nothing Holding Me Back” singer expressed concern for him online after he posted a lengthy tweet about his feelings.
Shawn Issued Alarming Message After Breakup From Camila Cabello
“sometimes I ask my self what it is that I should be ding with my life and what I always hear in return is ‘to tell the truth, to be the truth,’” he began. “I feel like that’s a hard thing to do though. I’m afraid that if people know and see the truth, they might think less of me. they might become bored of me.”
“So in those moments of feeling low I either put on a show or hide,” he continued. “the truth, in current form is a 23 year old who constantly feels like he’s either flying or drowning. Maybe that’s just what it is to be in your 20’s idk, or maybe that’s just me.”
The alarming message came after his breakup from longtime love Camila Cabello and a wellness retreat.
Back in February, photos surfaced of the singer getting an ancient form of plant medicine blown into his nose.
