Rising country musician Luke Bell has been reportedly found dead after being missing for over a week. Matt Kinman, Bell’s friend and fellow country singer, confirmed his death. The late singer was initially declared missing on August 20th, and his body was later found nearby.

Kinman also later shared online that Bell was recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder and stated that a recent medicine change might have influenced his disappearance. Luke Bell Was Found Dead After Going Missing

Matt Kinman, Bell’s close friend and a fellow country musician, confirmed that Bell had been found dead on August 29th to the music website Saving Country Music. Bell was 32 years old and was initially reported missing on August 20th. His body was found in Tucson, Arizona, near where he was reported missing.

According to USA Today, the Tucson police department has confirmed Bell’s death but has yet to reveal his cause of death. In a statement, the department’s rep said, “the investigation is ongoing at the moment” and refused to disclose any more details.

However, Kinman later spoke to the music blog The Boot and revealed that Bell was recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder. He also stated that a recent change in Bell’s medication might have influenced the singer’s disappearance.

Bell was born in Kentucky and lived in Wyoming for a long time until he dropped out of the University of Wyoming and moved to Texas to pursue his dream career, country music. Bell eventually ended up in Nashville, where he got his big career break and was signed by Thirty Tigers in 2016.

That same year, Bell released his eponymous album, which quickly became popular and earned him recognition all over the U.S. After that, Bell’s career took off, and he began collaborating with big country music stars like Margo Price and Alabama Shakes. He even played a support slot for Willie Nelson and Dwight Yoakam.

In 2016, he spoke about the growing success of his music career to The Boot. Bell said, “To be honest, I live in the day, and I count smiles. That’s it. Listen, half the time, I end up drinking beer with my neighbors. Life’s not that bad.”

His tweet read, “Man…Luke Bell…what the f–k. RIP to a real one. Been a long time since I saw him and I was just talking about him the other day wondering what he’s been up to. Truly a sad night for country music.”

Music band Mike and the Moonpies also wrote an emotional tribute to Bell on their Facebook page. They wrote, “Word just came down on the passing of Luke Bell and we’re heartbroken over the news. I can vividly remember the first time I met Luke at Hole in the Wall over a decade ago, down to the clothes on his back.”
