Tim Robbins & Gratiela Brancusi Settle Divorce, Details Remain Confidential
Tim Robbins is legally and officially divorced from his ex-wife, Gratiela Brancusi, after the couple settled their ongoing divorce.
According to new legal documents, obtained by The Blast, the famous former couple entered into an agreement making their split official. As in some celebrity divorces, the details are somewhat confidential, but we are guessing they both took with them what money they bought into the relationship.
In the filing, the couple agreed there “irreconcilable differences have arisen between the parties which have led to the irremediable breakdown of the marriage, making it impossible for the parties to live together as husband and wife. (They) acknowledge that their marital relationship cannot be restored or reestablished at this time.”

Interestingly, there is a confidentiality clause in the settlement — making the details of what might have changed hands remain private.
In most cases, celebrities as famous and rich as Tim Robbins will enter into a prenuptial agreement, essentially guaranteeing that their fortune will stay separate property in any new marriage. Of course, Robbins is a very famous actor, starring in movies like “Shawshank Redemption” and “Bull Durham.” It should be noted, Gratiela Brancusi, is currently a big draw considering she stars in one of the biggest shows on television — ‘1883.’
We broke the story, the famous couple shocked Hollywood after filing for divorce — even though many didn’t even know they were married. The 62-year-old actor says the former couple tied the know on February 1, 2017. Adding, the duo split on July 1, 2020. The actor did bring his bride to the premiere of ‘Here and Now’ — but no one knew they were already married.
‘Shawshank Redemption’ Star Previously Married To Susan Sarandon For 20 Years
Robbins has no minor children with his ex-wife, but he does share two sons with his famous ex-wife Susan Sarandon. Robbins and Sarandon starred together in ‘Bull Durham’ and were married for more than 20 years before calling it quits in 2009.
The actor has been very vocal about keeping his family life private, saying in an interview, “It’s hard because, you know, it’s hard enough for any individual. It doesn’t help when both of your parents are Oscar winners.”
In the end, both of them were forced to sign the agreement — so at least they will have each other’s autographs. See it Below!
