See Viola Davis, Elisabeth Moss, Daniel Radcliffe, and John Boyega Walk the TIFF Red Carpet

The 2022 Toronto International Film Festival kicked off September 8 with a luxe, star-studded red carpet. The 47th annual film festival runs from September 8 through 18, with Sally El Hosaini’s “The Swimmers” debuting opening night.

While the full TIFF lineup already includes Oscar heavy hitters such as Darren Aronofsky’s “The Whale,” which will be honored for Brendan Fraser’s jaw-dropping performance, and Steven Spielberg’s autobiographical “The Fabelmans,” the A-lister casts behind Sarah Polley’s “Women Talking” and Rian Johnson’s “Glass Onions: A Knives Out Mystery” prove the red carpet is the true shining star of the film festival featuring exquisite sartorial ensembles.

Daniel Radcliffe and Evan Rachel Wood walk the carpet for the Roku Channel’s “Weird: The Al Yankovic Story,” plus the cast of “The Handmaid’s Tale” confirmed the sixth and final season renewal for the Emmy-winning series.

Zac Efron makes his return to the red carpet with Peter Farrelly’s “The Greatest Beer Run Ever” based on an outrageous true story during the Vietnam War. Sam Mendes’ “Empire of Light” stars Olivia Colman and Colin Firth, who will both strut their stuff ahead of the premiere.

Tyler Perry ‘s long-awaited “A Jazzman’s Blues” for Netflix will also debut, along with Billy Eichner’s “Bros,” Lena Dunham’s “Catherine Called Birdy,” queer romance “My Policeman” starring Harry Styles, and Viola Davis-led historical epic “The Woman King.”

Rooney Mara, Claire Foy, Jessie Buckley, Frances McDormand, Ben Whishaw, and Judith Ivey are expected to stun on the red carpet for the premiere of “Women Talking,” while Michelle Williams, Paul Dano, David Lynch, and Seth Rogen round out the cast of Spielberg’s period piece “The Fabelmans.”

But all eyes are on the “Glass Onion” cast with fashion heavy-hitters Kathryn Hahn, Kate Hudson, Ethan Hawke, Daniel Craig, Madelyn Cline, Dave Bautista, Leslie Odom Jr., Janelle Monae, and Jessica Henwick walking the carpet.
