Britney Spears Has Lost Her Pregnancy – Read Statement
Britney Spears and her fiance Sam Asghari have announced that they have suffered a pregnancy loss.
The 40-year-old singer took to her Instagram account on Saturday (May 14) to share a statement from both of them.
“It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy,” Britney and Sam began the statement.

They continued, “This is a devastating time for any parent. Perhaps we should have waited to announce until we were further along, however we were overly excited to share the good news. Our love for each other is our strength. We will continue trying to expand our beautiful family. We are grateful for all of your support. We kindly ask for privacy during this difficult moment.”
The Instagram post included the caption, “We are grateful for what we have in the process of expanding our beautiful family ? Thank you for your support.”
Britney announced her pregnancy on April 11 and said at the time that they figured she just had a food baby until she took a pregnancy test.
We’re sending our love to Britney and Sam during this difficult time.
