WWE Legend Tammy Sytch Back In Jail After Bond Revoked In DUI Death Case

WWE Legend and Hall of Famer Tammy ‘Sunny’ Sytch is in trouble again with the law as she has been put back in jail as a judge has since revoked her bond after a March 25th accident that has resulted in serious charges, including DUI manslaughter, that ended up leading to the death of a man in Florida.

Volusia County Corrections

Friday the 13th was not a good day for Sytch as her bail was officially revoked after a morning hearing that will see her remain in jail during her DUI manslaughter charge. The Circuit Court of Volusia County, Florida made the decision after a motion was filed by the state. Sytch previously posted bond and was released but that has now all since changed.

State Attorney RJ Larizza said in a released statement that reads in part, “The State submits that there is a substantial probability that the Defendant committed DUI Manslaughter when she killed the victim on March 25, 2022. The State also submits that Defendant poses a threat of harm to the community based on the criminal history surrounding driving offenses;” since ordered that Sytch be put in pretrial detention, keeping her until and during any possible trial. Sytch who was arrested back on May 6th on multiple charges including the aforementioned DUI manslaughter which resulted in the death of 75-year-old Julian Lasseter had the state of Florida claim that Sytch violated her probation from three previous DUI arrests in Pennsylvania. Sytch also has a suspended driver’s license in Pennsylvania and doesn’t have a valid driver’s license in the State of Florida.

In addition to DUI manslaughter, she is also facing one count of causing death while operating a vehicle with a suspended or revoked driver’s license, four counts of DUI causing injury to a person, and three counts of DUI causing damage to property. She will be arraigned on May 31 at 2:30 PM. An uphill battle for sure for the former WWE Diva.

Tammy Sytch Has Had Continues Legal Problems For Years

Things haven’t always been sunny for the former WWE star as Sytch has had previous incidents with the law as close as 2019, which we will get to but in 2012 she was arrested five times in a four-week span, for disorderly conduct, third-degree burglary, and three counts of violating a protective order. She was arrested a sixth time in January of 2013, also for violating a protective order. That resulted in Sytch serving 114 days in a Connecticut jail to then being released in May  of2013.

In 2015, Sytch was arrested in Pennsylvania three times for DUI where she pled guilty to all three charges. She was sentenced to 90 days in jail but time in rehab was counted as time served. Then in 2018, she got two more DUIs in New Jersey. After failing to appear in court for those cases she was arrested for two fugitives of justice charges. Add to all of that, there have been a host of other charges and arrests and stays in correctional facilities that fill up her Wikipedia quite nicely.

Now add this recent set of charges, and things aren’t looking very good as she will see her most current fate at the end of the month.

Tammy ‘Sunny’ Sytch Is One Of The Most Popular WWE Stars Of All Time

In better times, Sytch better known as Sunny in the WWE was one of the most charismatic talents the WWE has ever seen. Both managing the likes of The Bodydonnas, The Godwins, The Smoking Gunns and Legion of Doom 2000 to tag team gold, she has also been a spectacular commentator and saw time in multiple wrestling organizations such as ECW, WCW and Smokey Mountain Wrestling. Her career made so many waves that she was inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011.

It is a sad state of affairs that all that glory looks to be likely difficult to return to especially with these recent charges on her back. Should be interesting to see what is next in this ongoing saga. We will all have to wait and see how justice will be served from this point on but it is not looking good for the once extremely successful WWE star.
