Zac Efron is very famous. He’s been in plenty of stuff that everyone’s seen, and he’s easily recognizable to the majority of the general public.

“I just don’t go out,” he explained in the interview. “People in large groups, it triggers my agoraphobia.”

If you’ve been following the news this week, then you know that Zac’s agoraphobia disclosure was one of a few things that he opened up about in this particular profile.

He also revealed that the process of attaining his “look” for 2017’s Baywatch reboot film led to him suffering from a “pretty bad depression.”

“Something about that experience burned me out,” he said. “I had a really hard time re-centering. Ultimately, they chalked it up to taking way too many diuretics for way too long, and it messed something up.”

According to the Mayo Clinic, diuretics “help rid your body of salt (sodium) and water.”

He also addressed the viral images of him from last year that led to plastic surgery speculation, explaining that he’d shattered his jaw after slipping while running through his house in socks.
