Was Kourtney The ONLY Kardashian That Remembered 9/11?

Kourtney Kardashian is standing out from the Kardashian-Jenner clan again!

The reality star, who has always managed to do things differently from her other famous sisters, stood out again when she became the only one amongst them to publicly remember the 9/11 attack. The mother-of-three’s tribute was a repost of one of the most iconic photos taken on the day of the life altering event.

Kourtney Kardashian Shares 9/11 Attack Post As Tribute For Those Lost

In the Story, Kardashian reposted an old picture that showed precisely when one of the hijacked planes crashed into the Twin Towers, famously known as the World Trade Center, in New York. Although thick smoke billowed from the hit, those walking on the sidewalks below seemed blissfully unaware of the tragedy at the time the photograph was snapped.

In fact, a UPS delivery man was still going about his business with a package in his hand. The chilling picture, which Melanie Einzig captured, was initially posted on 90sanxiety’s page, garnering thousands of likes and hundreds of comments from followers.

Kardashian reposting it to her Story did well to honor the 2,977 victims who died on September 11, 2001, including 72 police officers and 340 firefighters.

Meanwhile, the other Kardashians’ social media pages seemed to be lacking any acknowledgement of the 9/11 anniversary.

The Businesswoman Tries Hand At Sustainable Fashion With New BooHoo Partnership

The Blast recently reported that Kardashian had set a high fashion goal. This goal set her on the path of sustainable fashion with a new, exciting partnership with BooHoo. The “Kourtney and Kim Take New York” star announced the collaboration that would make her a new ambassador for the fashion collection, stating that it was an alliance “grounded in her signature runway-worthy style and sustainable, conscious practices.”

She revealed that when she was first approached by BooHoo “with this idea that was all about sustainability and style,” she was worried about the “effects of the fast fashion industry on our planet.” However, that quickly changed when Kardashian had an “enlightening experience” talking directly with fashion experts about their plans.

The conversations birthed the idea to release two collections — the first will feature 46 limited-edition pieces, including two vintage designs custom-sourced by John Hickling, director of Glass Onion Vintage. Regarding what shoppers could expect from the collection, Hickling stated that the biker jackets would be “your statement vintage piece.”

The campaign, starring Kardashian, teased fans with what to expect from the range that included “futuristic silhouettes and sophisticated outwear to timeless dresses, punk-rock ensembles and a bit of everyday Barbiecore.” Unfortunately, not many people buy into the Poosh founder’s sustainability fashion plans. When news of the BooHoo partnership broke, several critics took to Twitter to express their disdain.

While one person wrote, “Kourtney Kardashian being Boohoo’s Sustainability Ambassador is the joke of the day,” another chimed in with a message that implied that Kardashian was “greedy” and “hypocritical.”

A third critic added that it was the “biggest load of b*llocks” and wondered if “ultra-fast fashion stans” approved the deal. After pointing out that BooHoo was a “fast fashion brand,” another person asked if they were “being punked.” One critic even equated the partnership to a fitness influencer collaborating with a famous fast food outlet, Burger King.
