“I saw them the other day, that got me quite sad,” Prince William told the mourner who asked about the corgis, according to a Sky News video. “They are going to be looked after fine.”
“They are two very friendly corgis so they’ve got a good home,” Prince William continued, while holding the woman’s hand. “They’ll be looked after very well, spoilt rotten I’m sure.”
The woman responded, “I hope so.”
An avid dog lover, Queen Elizabeth had two Pembroke Welsh corgis named Muick and Sandy.
It was recently revealed that one of Queen Elizabeth’s children will now be taking care of the dogs.
