Jennifer Coolidge was sent to the ER right before she started filming The White Lotus!
Hot off her win at the 2022 Emmy Awards, the 61-year-old actress revealed that she had to go to the emergency room as soon as she arrived in Hawaii to start production on the HBO series.

While speaking with Allure, Jennifer shared that she had a nasty reaction to a bad spray tan.
“For The White Lotus, I didn’t want to look like a big, white marshmallow on the beach in Hawaii, so I got a spray tan,” Jennifer shared. “I got on the plane and I started to feel really weird. By the time I got off the flight, I had to go to the emergency room.”
Jennifer’s health scare then prompted production to make some changes to her makeup routine.
“I think we ended up using regular makeup,” Jennifer recalled. “The minute we stopped filming, I would shower. I have such a quick reaction to stuff.”
Jennifer also added that this allergic reaction is a new development.
“I was never someone who cared very much about ingredients,” Jennifer said. “Then, I’d say the last five or six years, I started getting allergic. My eyes would always be tearing up, but it never occurred to me that it was my makeup.”
In another recent interview, Jennifer revealed the Oscar-winning actress she wants to play her in a potential biopic.
