Courteney Cox is getting real about getting older as a woman.

The “Friends” actress recently took a trip down memory lane and shared a commercial she starred in from the 1980s.

Cox looked like she was straight out of Olivia Newton-John’s “Physical” music video in a commercial for feminine hygiene product, Tampax.

She captioned the video, “My commercial needed an update.”

“Does your life change once a month because of your period?” she asks in the 80’s commercial.

Then the video cuts to 2022 Cox.

“Did your life completely change because of menopause?” Cox asks.

In the event you are not familiar with menopause and what it is, let us tell you.

Menopause most commonly occurs in females between the ages of 45 and 55. It happens at a point in time 12 months after a woman’s last period or menstrual cycle. Females can experience hot flashes, sleep disturbance, decreased libido, weight gain, mood swings, hair dryness or loss of scalp hair, anxiety, dry skin, irritability, insomnia and SO MUCH MORE.

“Still using pads?” the 80’s Cox continues.

“Still getting hot flashes?” the 2022 Cox interjects.

Her blast from the past commercial goes to on say how Tampax can make you change the way you feel about your period.

“Menopause can change the way you feel about getting older,” Cox says after hitting her fist on the wall. “Menopause will eat you alive! It’s horrible. Nothing else can do that.”

The younger version of Cox says, “Feeling clean is more comfortable. Plus, more women use Tampax more than any other tampon or pad.”

“Plus, you get the added bonus of drier skin and getting bald patches, now that’s something,” the 58-year-old jokes. “Remember, there is nothing good about menopause. It can actually change the way you feel about getting older.”

The updated parody version of her Tampax commercial sent the internet into hysterics. Many of her famous friends flooded the comments section of the video.

“Knocked Up” director Judd Apatow commented, “Untopable,” while his wife, Leslie Mann, left several crying-laughing emojis, “????.”

“Old School” actress Juliette Lewis also replied with several expressive emojis, “??????????❤️❤️❤️❤️.”

“@courteneycox you know it’s one of my favs,” Drew Barrymore added.

“You won the internet today,” Josh Hopkins replied.

“Queer Eye” stars Tan France and Jonathan Van Ness reacted to Cox’s video with, “This made me lol” and “Lololol.”

Academy Award winner Julianna Moore also got in on the action writing, “Ahahahahahahahahaha.”

Cox isn’t the only celeb to speak out about menopause.

Last year, Salma Hayek (56) spoke out about her experience with menopause and how it made her breasts grow.

“The boobs grow a lot,” Hayek said on Red Table Talk with Jada Pinkett Smith. “For some women they get smaller. But there are some women that when you gain weight, your boobs grow, and other women that when you have children and you breastfeed your boobs grow and they don’t go back down, and then in some of the cases when you are in menopause they grow again. And I just happen to be one of those women where it happened in every, single step!”
