Sylvester Stallone Shares Photos With Estranged Wife Jennifer Flavin, Reconciliation In The Works?
Veteran actor Sylvester Stallone recently took a trip down memory lane and posted some old pictures of him and his wife, Jennifer Flavin. The duo has been married for over two decades and recently announced their intention to go their separate ways. While neither mentioned the root of the split, Stallone revealed that the union was “irreparably broken.”
Flavin filed for divorce last month and revealed her intention to revert to her maiden name. The former model also accused the actor of hiding marital assets, which Stallone firmly denied.
Despite everything going on, the 76-year-old recently took to Instagram to post old pictures of his wife and family in seemingly happier times. On the one hand, the throwback pictures could indicate that the couple was on their way to reconciliation; however, it could merely be the “Rambo” actor going down memory lane.

Stallone and Flavin are currently in the middle of a messy divorce, but this didn’t stop the actor from reminiscing about old times. On Monday, the 76-year-old took to Instagram to post a photo of him and his estranged wife holding hands while walking away from the camera.
In the second picture, the entire family was there with smiles on their faces. The post was simply captioned “Wonderful.”
While the act is touching, Flavin filed for divorce from Stallone last month. The duo was married for 25 years, and according to the actor, the reason for the divorce was because they had grown apart from each other over the years.
Jennifer Flavin Filed For Divorce
Last month, Flavin filed for divorce in Florida from her husband, Stallone. Per TMZ, the former model didn’t expressly state why they were separating; she just stated her terms of the split. Flavin wants to retain exclusive ownership of the former couple’s Palm Beach home for the duration of the divorce proceedings. A request which Stallone has opposed as reported by The Blast.
The mother of three also revealed that she wanted to change her last name to her maiden name and accused the “Rocky” star of hiding marital assets. The divorce documents revealed, “Upon information and belief, the Husband has engaged in the intentional dissipation, depletion and/or waste of marital assets which has had an adverse economic impact on the marital estate.”
It continued, “Pursuant to Section 61.075, Florida Statutes, equity dictates that the Wife be compensated and made whole by receiving an unequal distribution of the marital assets in her favor. Moreover, the Husband should be enjoined from, selling, transferring, assigning, encumbering, or dissipating any assets during the pendency of proceedings.”
Sylvester Stallone Denied Hiding Marital Assets
In response to Flavin’s accusations concerning Stallone withholding marital assets, the actor denied ever doing such, but he confirmed that their marriage was as good as done. The actor also revealed that he didn’t intend to give Flavin exclusive use of their Palm Beach home during the divorce proceedings.
Stallone, however, agreed to the mother of three reverting to her maiden name, “Flavin.” While neither party revealed the reason for the divorce, TMZ reported that the entire issue started from an argument about a dog. Sources claimed that while Stallone wanted the pet, Flavin felt differently.
The 73-year-old once again denied the claims and said they had merely grown apart. He said, “I have the highest respect for Jennifer. I will always love her. She’s an amazing woman. She’s the nicest human being I’ve ever met.” Earlier, Stallone asked for privacy during the family’s hard time and revealed that he still loved his family.
Sylvester Stallone Replaced Tattoo He Got Of Jennifer Flavin
Stallone recently replaced a bicep tattoo he got of Flavin’s face with that of his late dog, Butkus, who starred with him on “Rocky.” While most would suspect the couple’s recent marital troubles as the cause, the actor’s representative, however, gave a different reason for the change.
The rep told Daily Mail that the new tattoo was the result of a touch-up gone wrong. They said, “Mr. Stallone intended to refresh the tattoo image of his wife Jennifer; however, the results were unsatisfactory and, unfortunately, unfixable. As a result, he had to cover the original image with a tattoo of his dog from Rocky, Butkus. Mr. Stallone loves his family. The Stallones are presently filming a reality show together, which will debut on Paramount+.”
Flavin, on her part, took to Instagram on August 10 to post a picture of her three daughters hugging her. She captioned the post, “These girls are my priority. Nothing else matters. The 4 of us forever.”
