Landon Barker Cheers on Girlfriend Charli D’Amelio During DWTS Debut
Charli D’Amelio was nervous to dance for the world to see but her boyfriend Landon Barker gave her the thumbs up on a job well done.
Charli D’Amelio Is Feeling The Love
The TikTok star debuted her dance skills this week on the hit reality show where celebrities perform weekly for the top scores. This week, she and her dance partner Mark Balls earned the top scores for their performance of the cha-cha to a remix of “Savage” by Megan Thee Stallion.
People magazine caught up with D’Amelio after her performance where she spilled that it was exhilarating and that she’s happy she did it.
The publication asked the influencer how her boyfriend feels about the whole thing, “He was very proud of me,” she said. “He’s never seen me dance before, so I think I was nervous, but he’s always been so supportive,” she says excitedly.
Charli D’Amelio & Landon Barker Are In The Beginning Stages Of A Relationship
The couple who have only just started dating are in that honeymoon phase. They are excited and thrilled to have a significant other. They made their debut in June when a source claimed that their hangout was more of like a date.
“They’re seeing each other, and it’s early stages,” shared the source to People at the time. Shortly after, the couple went public attending concerts and events around the city like Machine Gun Kelly’s show in New York and a Fourth of July party in the Hamptons.
Landon Barker Dedicated An IG Post To Charlie D’Amelio
Barker doubled down on that support D’Amelio spoke about in an Instagram Story post. He shared a photo of the influencer on stage mid-dance. He writes, “Char you killed it I love you so much! You looked so beautiful! So exciting [to] watch you do what you love! So proud of you Char.”
He ended his post with a red heart emoji further solidifying the “love” he feels for her. The couple doesn’t often post photos of one another so this is kind of a big deal.
Charli D’Amelio Shares This Moment With Her Mom
D’Amelio has another support system to lean on during this time; her mom! Heidi D’Amelio is making history with her daughter as a first-time mother-daughter duo on the show.
“I have really good friends and family around me, and I’m very happy that everyone came tonight to support me and my mom,,” shared D’Amelio humbly. Pointing out that she is “so proud” of her mom for stepping into this journey with her.
Both women have shared that they are truly treating this like a competition. “We love each other. But she wants to win. I want to win,” Heidi told People after her performance. “But at the end of the day, there can only be one winner.”
Dancing With The Stars airs on Monday on Disney+ hopefully we get to see more sweet comments from Landon Barker.
