Elizabeth Gillies Sets First Post ‘Dynasty’ Project, Joins New Movie ‘Spread’
Elizabeth Gillies has been cast in her first role since the end of her show Dynasty!
The 29-year-old actress will be starring in the upcoming movie Spread, which is currently in production, Deadline reveals.
“Thrilled to finally announce this exciting, insane project we’ve been working on! My stomach muscles hurt from laughing at our brilliantly funny cast every day. Can’t wait for you all to see it! 💋,” Elizabeth shared on Instagram.

The film follows “an ambitious aspiring journalist (Gillies) who lands a temp job at an adult magazine run by an aging industry king (Keitel) and must reconcile her idealism as she strives to help the company succeed.”
Also set to star in the film for Tubi, include The Fosters’ Teri Polo, Good Trouble’s Bryan Craig, Harvey Keitel, American Housewife’s Diedrich Bader, Blake Harrison, Tim Rozon and Keith Walker, as well as Dia Frampton, Jonah Platt, and Diora Baird.
Ellie Kanner is directing the film, which is written and co-produced by Buffy Charlet, who found inspiration from her real-life experience as a temp at Hustler magazine who rose to be an editor.
Filming on Elizabeth’s CW series Dynasty wrapped over the summer, and the series finale just aired last week.
