NCAA Star Amari Bailey Signs Massive ‘NIL’ Underwear Deal With Ethika
NCAA basketball star Amari Bailey is on his way to becoming one of the most sought-after athletes, after signing his first huge ‘NIL’ deal with Ethika clothing.
According to sources close to the deal, Bailey (who is currently a freshman at UCLA) signed with the underwear giant to produce and design his own pairs of the product.
Bailey is described by Sports Illustrated as “A smooth lefty that is a legitimate two-way talent, Bailey is set to make an immediate impact as a freshman at UCLA. He’s extremely athletic and plays with a fire that inspires his teammates. He makes plays that truly impact momentum and result in wins.”
NCAA Superstar Signs Massive Underwear Deal With Ethika
The exact terms of the deal remain confidential, but Amari will be working with the company in creating exclusive underwear products. The basketball player will work with designers at the company to come up with custom items connected to him and his style.
As for the compensation, Bailey will share in a percentage of the revenue generated from his products and sales. It’s a huge moment, considering the baller will get the very same deal as some of the biggest stars in the world like Rick Ross and Lil’ Wayne.
Ethika Executive Darius Burton tells The Blast, “The NIL deal with Amari couldn’t have come at a better time. I’ve followed Amari’s career since he was a youngster. I’ve always been impressed with how he handles himself on and off the court. When I heard he was making a move to Southern California, I wanted to figure out a way to work with him. We reached out to his high school team and asked if they would be interested in doing an underwear deal with Ethika, and we wanted Amari to have some design input on the underwear we were going to make for the team.”
Adding, “The deal with his high school never came to fruition, so it was time to figure out another way. Most of the deals we have are with athletes on the professional level, but we feel so strongly about Amari and his talents that we thought why not take a shot with the kid. I have no doubt that we will do amazing things as a team, and I couldn’t be happier to have him a part of our familie.”
Interestingly, his family made huge headlines off the basketball court when his mother was spotted on a date with rapper Drake. The duo was spotted after the musician rented the entire Los Angeles Dodgers stadium for a candlelight dinner with Amari’s Mother, Johanna Leia.

Darius addressed it, saying, “I was introduced to Johanna (Amari’s mom) and we hit it off from jump…she is one of the nicest most chill clients I’ve ever had the opportunity of working with. She spoke to Amari, and within a week we were able to close a deal that everyone is happy with, and now we are working on releasing some special Ethika products for Amari along with his very own signature staples.”
We are guessing the next stop for this young man is…the NBA.
