Netflix has released a new clip from Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, the second in a planned trilogy of kooky whodunits from writer-director Rian Johnson (Star Wars: The Last Jedi). Glass Onion will hit Netflix on December 23.

The Knives Out sequel recently had its world debut at the Toronto International Film Festival, and critics are starting to file their reviews of the film. As of this writing, the film has been faring well on Metacritic and Rotten Tomatoes–as of this writing, it’s got an aggregate score of 81 and 90 from the handful of critics who have seen it so far. These scores will shift as other outlets publish their takes, but note that because of its festival debut, there are no audience ratings available yet. And of course, you can make up your mind for yourself based on the new clip below that Netflix has just put out.

The film’s ensemble includes a returning Daniel Craig as master detective Benoit Blanc, joined by newcomers Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Jessica Henwick, Madelyn Cline, Kate Hudson, and Dave Bautista. Based on the reviews, we now know that Norton plays a colorful tech billionaire named Miles Bron. Bron invites his friends for a getaway on his private Greek island–but when someone turns up dead, Craig’s Detective Benoit Blanc is put on the case.

In addition to Knives Out 3, which will likely start to come into focus next year following Glass Onion’s release in the coming months, Johnson also has a Peacock series coming up. Titled Poker Face, the mystery drama is proving to be another opportunity for the director to arrange for an eclectic and exciting ensemble cast. According to Variety, Ron Perlman (Sons of Anarchy), Nick Nolte (Warrior), Charles Melton (American Horror Stories), and Tim Blake Nelson (Watchmen) have all come aboard so far. Reportedly, Natasha Lyonne (Russian Doll) will play a detective–or some kind of character, it’s not yet clear–working to solve different murders in each episode.
