Welcome to Flatch Renewed for Season 2

Fox officially renewed Welcome to Flatch Season 2, the network’s hit comedy series based on the British sitcom, This Country. Welcome to Flatch is a mockumentary series that follows young adult best friends and cousins, Kelly Mallet and Lloyd “Shrub” Mallet, who live their lives in the small midwestern town of Flatch, Ohio. Fox made a bold statement with the launch of the series, as they put the first seven episodes on Hulu to be streamed on the same day that the sitcom’s premiere aired on live television, hoping to draw in viewers uniquely from the start.

It is now being reported via Deadline that the mockumentary series will return as Welcome to Flatch Season 2 has officially been greenlit. President of Entertainment at Fox network, Michael Thorn, commented on the exciting news for the future of the comedy series. Read his comment below:

We decided to do what you always ask us to do, focus on the passion projects. We see great promise in the show.
