Kate Beckinsale has taken to the big screen in several films including “Underworld” (2003), “Pearl Harbor” (2001), “Van Helsing” (2004), “Click” (2006) and most recently, her new film, “Prisoner’s Daughter,” directed by Catherine Hardwicke and costarring Brian Cox, Ernie Hudson, and others.
After recently wrapping up promoting her new film, the 49-year-old English actress is relaxing on the beach and soaking up the sun. In a photo posted to her Instagram Story yesterday, the “Pearl Harbor” actress is flaunting her body as she models in a bikini top and mermaid tail, leaving her fans and followers stunned.
Kate Beckinsale Flips Her Fins Relaxing on the Beach
This is not the first time as of late that Kate Beckinsale posted photos in a mermaid tail. The 49-year-old actress has been lounging in the sun a lot, posting a viral video of her and her friend, Gabriella Morpeth, flippin’ their fins a few days ago.
Morpeth, a close friend of Beckinsale’s, is a costume designer who worked with the actress on many films, including “Jolt”,”Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi”, and the upcoming “The Little Mermaid” live-action.
In the clip, the two are seen wearing sunglasses, bikini tops, and pink, purple, and blue mermaid tails. As they flip their fins, they are waving their arms and dancing around to the Cher song, “The Shoop Shoop Song (It’s in His Kiss), a reference to her 1990 film, “Mermaids.”
What’s Next For Kate Beckinsale?
Beckinsale recently wrapped promoting her newest project, “Prisoner’s Daughter”, directed by Catherine Hardwicke. Beckinsale stars alongside Brian Cox, Ernie Hudson, and more. She attended the movie’s premiere at Roy Thomson Hall during the Toronto International Film Festival, wearing a gorgeous pink dress and black latex gloves.
For her next project, the 49-year-old will star in the upcoming comedy, “El Tonto,” alongside Jason Sudeikis, Ken Jeong, Jillian Bell, John Malkovich, Adrien Brody, and Edie Falco. The film is written and directed by Charlie Day.
