Luke Macfarlane’s Future with Hallmark Revealed in Recent Interview for ‘Bros’ Movie
Luke Macfarlane is one of the most recognizable faces on the Hallmark Channel, but now he’s hitting it big with his new movie Bros!
The 42-year-old actor opened up about his future with the network in a recent interview for his new film. He’s about to become the breakout star of the romantic comedy movie, which is the first rom-com from a major studio that will feature an entirely LGBTQ principal cast.

While speaking with the Los Angeles Times from the set of his upcoming Hallmark movie Christmas Village, Luke said that this one will likely be his last. It will be his 14th film for the network!
“They’ve been very good to me, but I think I’ve told my story for now with those folks,” he said. With a laugh, he added, “I mean, how many firefighters can I play?”
Luke was asked to explain what he brought to Bros from his experience in Hallmark movies.
“One thing that I really enjoyed about making Hallmark movies is it’s really fun to flirt. It’s fun to play that energy on camera, where relationships are at their best in those early times. I guess Hallmark has given me a lot of flirting lessons,” he said.
