The artist known for her soft spooky voice and music is set to stamp her feet in the business game. After bursting onto the music scene, she got noticed very early on and has been the subject of discussions mainly because of her type of sound. Now she’s about to get tongues wagging again, but this time not for her music.

The 20-year-old excited her fans when she posted a picture of her soon-coming fragrance on her Instagram page. The picture finally gave her audience a look at what the product would look like – a sleek black metallic silhouette of the human upper body. The captioned post read:

“Eilish No. 2…. My new fragrance is coming so soon!!!…. I have been waiting to share this one with you!!!!”

Although she did not disclose the release date, her followers did not seem too bothered about that. They dropped comments that expressed their excitement like “YAS,” “There goes my bank account,” and “OMG! Yes, I have been waiting.” 

Just last year, too, the “Everything I Wanted” singer broke into the beauty business when she released her first fragrance to great reviews, as reported by Harpers Bazaar. Eilish told the platform that she wanted the fragrance to feel like a warm embrace and that it was a scent she had been chasing for a while — adding that it was also now her favorite smell. 

The songwriter also told Vogue that because she can smell colors which is a case of the condition called synesthesia, this makes her drawn to amber-colored scents. So being able to experience one sense through the other helped her release a fragrance that infused themes like mandarin, cocoa, red berries, and the amber of them all, vanilla.

The entrepreneur also described to ELLE that the fragrance to her was cozy and sensual and that the smell made her want to be snuggled up at Christmas. The bottle, made with a gold metallic material to look like a sculpture of the upper body, was inspired by the “Your Power” singer’s favorite body parts; the back, neck, and collarbone.

In June, The Blast shared that the Grammy Award winner is known to speak up about her experiences as a female artist when it comes to how she should look. When she first burst onto the music scene, it was not only her voice that caught people’s attention. Her unorthodox fashion style did the job mainly. 

Her look then consisted of baggy tops, bottoms, and bright-colored hair that changed colors depending on her mood. She maintained this style until her 2021 British Vogue cover shoot. The “Happier Than Ever” singer shocked the public by wearing a corset and lingerie on the cover of the top-rated publication.

While she may have given several explanations for her changing style, one stood out. And that is her complicated relationship with her body. In an interview with The Times, the talented singer noted that her relationship with her body had been truly horrible since the age of eleven. She added:

“I love that my body is mine, and it’s with me everywhere I go. I kind of think of my body as my friend. My ugly friend! It’s complicated. But what are you going to do?”

The Brit Awards winner revealed that while she never felt desired physically, she also received backlash for not looking like the socially acceptable idea of the female form. Moving forward, she decided to change her look by going platinum blonde and wearing a body-hugging corset to publicize her sophomore album “Happier Than Ever.” 

Unfortunately, by doing so, she proved that she would be criticized no matter how she looked. Eilish shared that she got a lot of demeaning remarks after her cover shoot, like, “You’re such a fat cow wh**e.” Adding that she was branded to be like every other celebrity that sells their bodies, a sellout, and a sl*t, just because she decided not to wear baggy clothes.
