Being one half of the City Girls isn’t enough for Yung Miami, she wants to take over the world like mogul Oprah Winfrey. Yung Miami, aka Caresha Brownlee, discussed with XXL how big her dream expand. “People just loving to hear me talk, you know?

The rapper is referencing her popular podcast, “Caresha Please” the newish show is popular amongst her fans and it all came about as a fluke.

“Whenever I talk or whenever I go on [Instagram] Live, it go viral. So, one day I was talking with Diddy and he was like, “Yeah, [you] should do a podcast. It would be good for you,” and that’s how it came out,” said Yung Miami.

She knows that it can be wildly successful so when asked what her goal was in the long run, she went a little crazy with her answer. “I want to be like—I think she has a podcast now—a person like Wendy Williams. I’m dreaming big. I want to go to the highest of the highest. I want to be the Black Oprah.”

“A laughingstock you are sis.,” “Not the black Oprah like Oprah ain’t already black”. Some thought it was the perfect idea, “Yung Oprah” they hyped her up. “Oprah opened a whole school in Africa for girls to get education and y’all out here slandering her like this,” pointed out another.

Now ‘Black Oprah’ Is Trending

“Caresha saying “I want to be the black Oprah” is funny as hell to me,” stated a follower of the trend. “She said what she said and she meant it! we need a black Oprah!” Others believe that Oprah isn’t for the black people and wished that Caresha would take her spot.

“I feel like caresha was making a political statement by calling herself “the Black Oprah”, in her analysis she pointed out the discrepancy in identity between billionaires in the Black experience & because of ‘Winfrey’s place in the capitalist scheme, she forfeits her Black card!”

A lot of Twitter assumed that Yung Miami was a fool. “I knew Caresha was a lil slow but I ain’t think she was that slow. “Black Oprah” really?”

Mostly people were sending subtle shade by simply stating, “Y’all knew what Caresha meant when she said “black Oprah.”” At this point, we’re just here for the comments because the back and forth is hilarious!
