15 Bollywood Actors Who Almost Got Cast In Iconic Roles But Ultimately Didn’t
1. Both Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma were considered to play the female lead in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. The role, however, eventually went to Deepika Padukone.

5. Priyanka Chopra Jonas also quit the leading role in Bharat, supposedly at the last minute, and Katrina Kaif took her place.

However, things obviously looked very different upon the film’s final release in 2015.
Bhansali ProductionsRanveer Singh ended up playing Bajirao, Deepika was Mastani, and Priyanka was Kashibai. All three were spectacular in their respective roles.
8. Sriram Raghavan, the director of the 2018 gem, Andhadhun, had initially approached Varun Dhawan for the lead role.
