Robert Irwin Releases Photo Book In Honor Of Late Father, ‘The Crocodile Hunter’
The wait is finally over! Robet Irwin, son of the late Steve Irwin, has been dropping hints on his Instagram page since the summer about a project he’s been working on called, “Robert Irwin’s Australia.” Until today, he’s given no details on the project other than it’s coming soon. Today, he finally revealed the big news on what he called, “A project years in the making” on an Instagram teaser posted in August.

Robert Irwin Is Continuing His “Father’s Important Legacy” With His Project
In a video, we see the project Irwin has been working on for years – a photo book. He’s seen opening the book, signing it, and then wrapping it up. He captioned his big reveal, ” Robert Irwin’s Australia has arrived. Head to the link in my bio to take home a piece of Australia as seen through my lens.”
The caption went on to explain the project in detail. “This is the embodiment of countless years of dedication to the art form of imagery as well as my profound passion to continue my father’s important legacy, while forging my own path. Australian-made and sustainably crafted, this is my first photography book. And I can proudly say, all profits benefit conservation,” he wrote.
“In addition to my widely available book I am also thrilled to announce a signed launch edition series of 500 books, including a signed never-before-seen print, ‘thank you’ card and handcrafted Australian-made box, sealed with a custom embossment. Both of these options ship worldwide, but hurry – our launch edition is strictly limited to 500 coveted copies. Thank you for being part of my journey and for your support.”
Robert Irwin’s Announcement Received Tons Of Support
Followers of the 18-year-old’s social media page have been waiting for months to see what “The Crocodile Hunter’s” son has been working so enthusiastically on. His post received a lot of attention with nearly 36,000 likes and 350 comments.
The photographer’s followers left messages of congrats, support, and love. Irwin’s sister Bindi commented, “Congratulations! So proud of your hard work and dedication.” Many other uplifting sentiments filled the comment section.

“Robert Irwin’s Australia” Is Now Available On the Zoo’s Website
The book can be purchased on the Australia Zoo’s website for $189. The launch edition of the book can also be purchased for $349. The description of the book reads, “I am proud to announce my first photography book, ‘Robert Irwin’s Australia’. This is the ultimate showcase of the most remarkable continent on earth and highlights the role photography plays in conservation. I am honoured to share my journey behind the lens, and the deep connection it has to my passion for wildlife and the legacy that my Dad started.”
