7 Star Wars TV Stars Unite Across Eras In Brand New Images

Seven stars from various Star Wars TV series join forces across many eras of the galaxy in brand new images. This year has already been coined the “year of Star Wars” by many viewers who anticipate the upcoming release of Obi-Wan KenobiThe Bad Batch season 2, Andor, and perhaps even The Mandalorian season 3. In 2023, Ahsoka will join their ranks, a series which very recently announced its start on production. Each series covers a different era, with the exception of The Mandalorian and Ahsoka, which allows for even more exciting new content for every audience.

The Star Wars galaxy has no doubt been at its busiest ever since making the shift from focusing on films to focusing on streaming series, starting with 2019’s The Mandalorian. Since then, Disney has announced a plethora of new live action series to look forward to, including the ones mentioned above as well as The Book of Boba Fett that finished its season 1 run in February of this year, The Acolyte, and an untitled series that’s currently hidden under the guise of “Grammar Rodeo.” There’s something for everyone in the present and future of Star Wars television, from the stories of long-beloved characters such as Obi-Wan Kenobi to new stories with brand new characters such as Din Djarin.

Now, Vanity Fair has released brand new images that bring characters from all these different eras together for the first time. Featured on the cover are Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano, Pedro Pascal as Din Djarin, Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Diego Luna as Cassian Andor, the stars of AhsokaThe MandalorianObi-Wan Kenobi, and Andor respectively. Two side-by-side photos also add Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader, Moses Ingram as Inquisitor Reva, and Genevieve O’Reilly as Mon Mothma alongside the aforementioned four stars. The photos each utilize the famed Volume technology as their backgrounds, uniting them together despite the different eras in which each television show will take place. Check out the epic cover and other images below:

This moment is huge for Star Wars audiences as they finally get to see some of their favorite characters team up together, even if only for a few photos. There’s nothing quite like seeing McGregor’s Obi-Wan next to Luna’s Cassian after so many story threads tied their characters together in different ways. It’s also interesting to see Din go helmet-less, something Pascal doesn’t often get to do in his series. The presence of Vader is still a pleasant shock even to those who have been anticipating his Obi-Wan Kenobi return, especially so near to O’Reilly’s Mothma whose Rebellion fleet was last seen in 2016 fleeing from what is arguably Vader’s most brutal and ruthless scene yet.

This team-up will likely be the first of many as Star Wars television continues to grow and expand. The Acolyte will be covering a brand new era with the High Republic, which takes place 100 years before Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace. This will bring yet another opportunity for an event such as this, when many different characters get to be present together. These photos show just how bright the future of the Star Wars galaxy looks with so much talent taking the reins in bringing these beloved characters to life. From the shadow of the Empire with Obi-Wan Kenobi and Andor to the Outer Rim lawlessness following the Empire’s fall in The Mandalorian and Ahsoka, the audiences of Star Wars have a lot to look forward to.
