Raiders’ Devante Adams Shoves Cameraman To Ground In Heated Incident

Last night’s Monday Night Football game was one for the books. In a tight matchup between Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs and Derek Carr and the Las Vegas Raiders, the Chiefs ended up taking the win, 30-29.

The Raiders kept the Chiefs scoreless going into halftime with a score of 17-0. However, the Chiefs came to play in the second half as Mahomes threw four touchdowns to tight end, Travis Kelce, coming back and winning from a 17-point deficit.

In frustration of losing the game, Las Vegas Raiders star wide receiver Devante Adams was seen shoving a man and pushing him to the ground while walking off the field.

Former Green Bay Packers and current Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver, Devante Adams, had a huge game against the Kansas City Chiefs in Monday Night Football, bringing in three receptions for 124 yards and two touchdowns. Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough to beat star quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.

After the 30-29 loss, the Raiders shook hands with the Chiefs players and headed back into the locker room. Adams, 29, was seen visibly upset and frustrated as on his way into the locker room, he shoved a cameraman to the ground.

It seems as though the camera guy, who was holding a tall piece of equipment, accidentally walked in front of Adams. The wide receiver is then seen putting both hands on the cameraman and shoving him, causing the worker to all backwards and onto the ground.

The camera guy was helped back up to his feet by a security guard as Adams continued walking into the tunnel.

Prior to shoving the cameraman, Adams slammed his helmet to the ground.

After the heated incident occurred, and Devante Adams went back into the locker room, he addressed the situation to reporters, apologizing for his actions.

“I want to apologize to the guy, there was some guy running off the field, and he ran, like jumped in front of me coming off the field and I bumped into him, kind of pushed him, and he ended up on the ground,” Adams said in the locker room. “So I wanted to say sorry to him for that because that was just frustration mixed with him literally just running in from of me. I shouldn’t have responded that way, but that’s how I initially responded. So, I want to apologize to him for that.”

The 29-year-old took it a step further and also Tweeted his apology after the game in hopes the cameraman would see it.

“Sorry to the guy I pushed over after the game,” Adams wrote. “Obviously very frustrated at the way the game ended and when he ran infront of me as I exited that was my reaction and I felt horrible immediately. Thats not me..MY APOLOGIES man hope you see this.”

It is unclear at this time if Devante Adams will be fined or suspended for his actions.

The Las Vegas Raiders have a bye week next week, and then will go and take on Davis Mills and the Houston Texans in week 7.
