Singer Brandy Breaks Her Silence On Hospitalization, Severely ‘Dehydrated’
Singer Brandy is addressing her emergency medical incident, which had her being rushed to a hospital after suffering a possible seizure at her Los Angeles home.
Brandy’s Condition Is Serious But She Is Stable
According to reports, Brandy, who is 43 is already in recovery mode after law enforcement confirmed that they got an emergency call to Brandy’s home around noon with sources saying she suffered a seizure.
The singer was rushed to a local hospital and apparently at this time, she appears to be recovering. Reports indicate the singer’s parents have been there to visit and support their daughter. At this time, it is unknown if Brandy has any previous medical conditions that would lead her to have a seizure. However, recent public appearances don’t point to anything physically wrong with the “Full Moon” singer.
A few hours after the incident, Brandy broke her silence on the situation, saying she is suffering from dehydration.
“To my beloved fam, friends, and stars thank you for sending love and light my way. I am following doctors’ orders and getting the rest I need due to dehydration and low amounts of nutrition. Thank you for your prayers and support. Grateful for you all,” she wrote on IG.
Brother Ray J Recently Had His Own Medical Scare
Brandy recently publicly supported her younger brother Ray J after he posted a cry message inciting that he was contemplating hurting himself in some way. The family kept the situation pretty quiet but big sis did post a photo of her brother embracing her during one of the many acting gigs they had together.
She captioned the photo, “Need you bro @rayj ??” soon after Ray stopped posting on IG and it looks as though he has deleted any photos and videos, only leaving reels.
Singer Brandy Isn’t Speaking Out On What Caused The Dehydration
It was only a few months ago that Brandy shocked viewers when she performed the national anthem before the NFL’s NFC Championship game. Most people seemed like they forgot that Brandy is hella talented. Hopefully, she’s back to shocking fans again soon!
At this point, it’s unclear what might have caused Brandy to get to a point where she had a seizure due to dehydration. Also, claiming she has “low nutrition” is also something she might clarify in the future. Again, it’s no clear if the singer was sick leading up to the medical emergency.
The story is developing but in the meantime, prayers are up for Brandy and support for her family during this time.
