BBC Breakfast presenter Ben Thompson got mixed up in a major identity blunder as he went to introduce the weather segment during Tuesday's programme (November 8).
Ben, 41, stepped in for Jon Kay who typically hosts alongside Sally Nugent from every week from Monday to Wednesday, with fan favourite Nina Warhurst stepping in alongside him.
As they sat on the red sofa and talked through the top stories of the day, it was time to get an update on the weather as Ben introduced the beloved Scottish star.

He said: "Let's check in with Carol on what the weather is doing," before exclaiming: "Good morning to you Carol!"
