A mum-of-two who holidays around the world with her children has shared her top tips for travelling with kids.

It can be a struggle to keep little ones entertained on car rides, trains and flights, especially as young children can often kick off when they’re feeling tired, hungry, thirsty or bored.

Dealing with tantrums and crying while flying – or by the pool – can put a dampener on the whole week and make it more stressful.

Thankfully there are things you can do to ensure you all have a fun holiday away.

Nicki Freshwater, 40, is an HR Consultant and independent travel agent with two children aged five and three.

She shares her clever advice on her Instagram channel, @travelhackwithkids, to help other stressed out parents – and insists that you don’t have to stop travelling when you become a mum.
