Manchester United have reportedly made Borussia Dortmund starlet Jude Bellingham their No1 transfer target.

The 19-year-old's set the football world alight in recent years and has already racked up nine goals plus two assists this season for Dortmund. Bellingham's phenomenal talent has even led England team-mate Declan Rice to claim the youngster's a man trapped in a teenager's body.

Bellingham's undeniable talent is the reason why Ten Hag's willing to break the bank for the midfield maverick. After watching him play on 46 occasions previously, the Red Devils are planning to shatter the Premier League transfer record on the youngster, and pay Dortmund £130million for his services in 2023, according to football reporter Florian Plettenburg.

United's interest in Bellingham comes after he initially rejected their advances in 2020 before he moved to the Bundesliga giants. The Red Devils even had Sir Alex Ferguson give him a tour of Old Trafford, but the teen opted for a switch to Germany instead.

And United's chances of landing the whiz-kid are no better this time around due to Uefa's strict Financial Fair Play rules, plus interest from their rivals Manchester City, and Liverpool. Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is a long-term admirer of Bellingham, who he also puts at the top of his wishlist as the Reds plan a squad overhaul next summer, it was added.

And Klopp's optimistic he can lure Dortmund to the negotiation table with a £88m bid and a part exchange deal. Although Bellingham might be tempted to join City and link up with old Dortmund pal Erling Haaland who's made an instant impact in the Prem, scoring 18 goals in 12 appearances thus far.

The English giants also have to contend with interest from the continent where Bellingham's caught the attention of Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona, and Dortmund's neighbours Bayern Munich. And he's bound to attract more potential suitors after the World Cup which begins in a few weeks when he likely plays a starring role for Gareth Southgate's England side.
