Fans Feels Chris Evans ‘Deserves’ Sexiest Man Alive 2022 Title!

The news is out, and Chris Evans is 2022’s Sexiest Man Alive, as named by People Magazine. He follows 2021’s king, Paul Rudd, so it’s clear, that when it comes to MCU, only the sexy men make the cut. So is there hope from Dwayne Johnson then, although he came in DC and not Marvel? While the Rock certainly thinks so and wants Evans to share the crown, this is what Evans felt about it, and what the fans say about his new title.

What Do Fans And Dwayne Johnson Have To Say About It?

Evans knows he’s going to get a ribbing from his friends about it all, “Really this will just be a point of bullying. It’s ripe for harassment.” And it has already begun with Dwayne Johnson, who co-stars with Evans in the upcoming Christmas movie, “Red One”. Johnson went on video to tell Evans that he deserves “in” on the title since he was earlier chosen as the Sexiest Man Alive (2016) and does not plan to give up the title. Ever! Evans, of course, agreed and on being asked to give a sexy message, said, “go vote tomorrow”.

Fans seem equally thrilled for their ‘Cap’ although many have already started naming the next year’s choice, as we saw Oscar Isaac, Jason Momoa, and Henry Cavill as fan favorites.

Most felt, the title was “long deserved” and that “this was great”.

That said, one IG user felt, “No shirts should be a requirement to accept this prestigious award!”

Chris Evans Says His Middle-School Self Would Be ‘Pumped’

Evans’ first reaction to the news, as per the interview in People’s Magazine was that had his middle-school self known this day would come, “he’d be pumped!” The MCU star added, “this would probably be the road to the cool table which I was not at.”

He’s not all that comfortable with the “sexy” image though, preferring to speak about other things instead, including his work history. Evans has starred in the recent take on Pixar’s “Lightyear” as well as Netflix’s “Gray Man”. He’s also filmed three new movies, including 2023’s Ghosted for AppleTV+ and a new Christmas movie with Dwayne Johnson.

That said; Evans is still best known for the idealistic Captain America in Marvel’s multi-billion-dollar “Avengers” franchise. He’s also one happy dog daddy to Dodger and co-runs the civic engagement platform, A Starting Point. Now 41, Evans is looking to expand his life into more avenues than just work and wants to spend more time at home with his family. He claims, he’s too old “to be living out of a suitcase for six months” and that he’s “settled into a nicer phase where I’m just happy being at home.”

Most fans would agree with the “sexiness” although some did not like the photograph so much, with comments like, “that cover doesn’t do him justice. He can be photographed better!”

Chris Evans Is Looking For A Wife And Fatherhood

There’s good news for women across the world, as the Sexiest Man Alive is also, for now, a bachelor and looking to a fire that includes marriage and fatherhood. While there are rumors that he’s dating “Warrior Nun” actress Alba Baptista, nothing is official for now.

On the subject of a family, Evans said, “that’s absolutely something I want” although he refuses to say more on the subject, keeping it simple with: “some things you want just for you, or just for my family and my friends.”

Continuing on the subject of family, his new title is sure to please his mother, as Evans said, “my mom will be so happy. She’s proud of everything I do but this is something she can really brag about.”

Personally, he’s not really comfortable about thinking of himself as “sexy”, saying “it’s something that as I become old and saggy I can look back on and say ‘I remember then…’ I’m lucky to be in the discussion in any capacity.”

Instead, he finds Boston sexy as he loves the accent and feels at home with it. Evans also continued to wax about the city, saying, “I love the weather. The seasons, the sports teams. But the sexiest thing about Boston… maybe our universities. We’ve got a lot of good schools. Let’s give education a plug, that’s damn sexy.”
