I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! star Chris Moyles has lashed out at the BBC for the brutal way he was sacked from his Radio One breakfast show.

The DJ addressed how they "fired him with no notice" after his 15-year stint hosting at the radio station between 1997 and 2012 as he chatted to MP Matt Hancock in Monday's (November 14) episode of the hit reality TV series.

Chris, 48, opened up to Matt about his shock at discovering he was being replaced by Nick Grimshaw with just minutes to go before the announcement would be made on air.

As he detailed how his departure came around comparing working at the station to being on a "conveyor belt" Matt sympathised with him as he mused how working in politics feels much the same.
