Holly Willougby and Phillip Schofield broke down in tears of laughter as This Morning guest Will Ferrell dropped a racy "testicles" bombshell during the latest show.

Tuesday's episode (November 15) of the ITV programme saw the presenters interview the Anchorman actor, 55, and his Spirited co-star Octavia Spencer.

Asking Will what "famous props" he had kept from his movies over the years, Will confirmed his "most valuable" prop was his prosthetic testicles from the 2008 comedy Step Brothers.

Will said: "I have some interesting mementos from some of my films.

"Probably the most valuable one, literally, is from Step Brothers. Prosthetics of sorts."

Prompted by Phil that it was OK to say the word on air, Will later added: "Testicles.

"The testicles I put on a drum set in the movie and I asked the prop guy, [can I keep them]?

"I bring them out for dinner parties. I have a little special box to keep them inside."

The testicles in question were worn by Will during a famous Step Brothers scene which sees his character Brennon rub his genitals across the drum set of his co-star John C Reily's character Dale following a falling out between the characters.

The hilarious scene soon leads to a huge fight between the step-brothers though later results in them becoming friends.

Will appeared on This Morning to chat about his new Apple TV film Spirited alongside his co-star Octavia Spencer.

Marvel actor Ryan Reynolds also stars in the Christmas film, which puts a modern spin on Charles Dickens' classic festive tale A Christmas Carol.

Spirited drops to Apple TV on November 18. This Morning airs from 10am on weekdays on ITV.
