A sexpert revealed some of the oddest things women can do before they have sex – and one of them is pretty surprising.
Sex writer Nadia Bokody often offers tips on how people can better their sex lives, but she recently made a shocking confession.
She said women are known to "self-sample" before hitting the sheets to ensure they're clean and fresh.

In her recent column for news.com.au, Nadia admitted she used to carry out a pre-sexual ritual for years that she thought most vulva-owners would know about.
But when she once opened up about it to a woman she was dating, she was said to be left shocked by the confession, and simply responded with: "You do WHAT?!"
The practice Nadia was referring to was self-sampling, and she thought more people would have tried it out.
She said: "It’s when you take a sample from downstairs to check how you smell and taste."
