‘Law & Order’ Star Chris Meloni Goes NUDE For Hilarious Peloton Ad
“Law & Order” actor Chris Meloni is putting it all on display in a hilarious new Peloton ad.
Although some celebrities seemed to hesitate to participate in National Nude Day, celebrated every July 14, the 61-year-old actor can be seen curling weights and exercising completely in the nude.
Chris Meloni Puts It ALL On Display In Hilarious New Ad
The minute-long video was created by “Deadpool” star Ryan Reynolds and his marketing agency, Maximum Effort.
“Apparently, some people think the way I work out is strange,” he says in the video. “Honestly, I don’t get it.”
“Me, I don’t think using the Peloton app is strange at all,” he adds.
At the end of the commercial, Steve Zirnkilton, known for narrating all of the series in NBC’s “Law & Order” franchise, can be heard saying, “In the Peloton community, users are represented by two separate yet equally motivated groups: those who wear pants, and Christopher Meloni.”
The ‘Law & Order’ Star Already Works Out Naked!
Meloni was a perfect fit for the ad, considering he told PEOPLE back in May that he doesn’t wear clothes when he works out.
“I work out naked,” he said. “It’s my gym. I can do whatever I want.” Meloni also noted, “I don’t black out the window and I’m okay with that.” He quickly added, “My wife is not.” Meloni married his wife, production designer Sherman Williams, in 1995. The couple has two kids together.
Although he says that they occasionally work out together, he prefers to use his gym time to focus on himself. “We’ll hit the gym, but you know, I’m not to be spoken to,” he said, adding, “It’s like interrupting a monk when he’s in the middle of monk-ing.”
The “Marauders” actor also made it clear that he is “very serious” about his gym time, explaining that he wears headphones to block out any outside noise. He prefers his private gym to a public one, saying, “People don’t put the weights away and I’m OCD. I’m like, how hard is it [to put them away]?”
If he does go to a public gym, he says he feels like he has to put weights away for people “the whole time.” He said he’s “walked out” of the gym before because he can’t stand other people’s bad habits.

Back in September, Meloni told Men’s Health that his butt is having a “cultural moment” after social media went crazy over a photo of his rounded butts.
“I catch flies with my ass cheeks, like a Venus flytrap.” Meloni joked. “I’m clever with my ass cheeks!”
In terms of exercise, he says that he does a lot of box jumps, pull-ups, and a variety of other exercises, including one he dubbed “the saw.” Exercising is an important part of his routine. Meloni called it “therapy, church, meditation, and a kind of personal re-engagement where the brain and the body get to talk to one another.”
