Inside Jason Momoa’s split with Lisa Bonet and scary story behind his facial scar
After five years of marriage and a long relationship of 17 years Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet announced their separation in January 2022.
The hunky Aquaman star, 43 and The Cosby Show actress, 54, got together in 2005, welcoming two children, Lola, 14, and Nakoa-Wolf, 13 together, before marrying in October 2017, after 12 years of dating.
The couple who have done films as well as a Superbowl commercial hadn't made any public appearances together for two years when they announced their split, taking many fans by surprise.

Before he rose to fame with his rugged looks in roles such as Kahl Drogo in Game of Thrones or the lead of Aquaman, Jason Momoa was a self-proclaimed "pretty boy."
This changed in November 2008 when a scary and violent encounter resulted in the addition of a distinguished new feature to his face – the scar across his eyebrow.
Before he landed his iconic roles, Momoa was involved in a bar fight, which left him with a facial scar that needed around 140 stitches.
He spoke of his fight, which took place in the Bird Cafe, in Hollywood, with a man named Dominic Bando.
He said: "It was crazy. A guy smashed a pint glass in my face. I got a little over 140 stitches in my face."
Bando who had been 21 at the time apparently also suffered four injuries to his hand and got 15 stitches. He pleaded guilty to assault and was sentenced to five years in prison.
