EastEnders fans were left confused when the BBC announcer seemed to slip up and teased a storyline with a character named "Jake" instead of "Jack".
Viewers settling in to watch Tuesday's instalment from Walford were given a little message on what to expect before the episode got under way.

And they were apparently told that "Jake" had a bit of a tough time in store for him as he would be struggling with the knowledge that his daughter Amy had been self-harming.
But it was immediately clear that a mishap had taken place as fans had no idea who Jake was.
