Georgina Rodriguez has been gearing up for Christmas while her partner Cristiano Ronaldo prepares for the Qatar World Cup with Portugal.

Rodriguez, 28, took to Instagram to post a video of her posing in a jaw-dropping green dress. The Spanish beauty showed off a set of stunning new festive decorations in the Ronaldo home as she flaunted her incredible figure.

The house could be seen covered in Christmas lights, which Rodriguez controlled with a smartphone, along with a well-decorated tree placed underneath a lavish staircase chandelier.

Georgina captioned the pose: "The decorations are up and we’re ready for Christmas with @twinkly. We are OBSESSED with these lights and have had so much fun making our own effects to help us get into the festive spirit."

It comes at a hectic time for Ronaldo himself, who is currently training with the Portugal squad ahead of their opening World Cup clash with Ghana next week.

The Manchester United forward recently sparked controversy by sitting down for a fiery interview with Piers Morgan, where he heavily criticised Red Devils manager Erik ten Hag and the club hierarchy.

Ronaldo also aimed digs at former teammates Wayne Rooney and Gary Neville for their apparent criticism of him after a spat with Ten Hag, before claiming they were no friends of his.

Neville had said on Sky Sports: “We know him [Ronaldo], we love him but he can’t accept not being the star man. He’s going to have to leave, that’s it.”

The Portuguese legend responded: “To listen as ex-colleagues or team-mates criticise you, when they only see one point of view. It’s easy.

"It’s easy to criticise, I don’t know if you have a job in television that they must criticise to be more famous. I really don’t understand it. It’s hard when you see people who was in the dressing room with you criticising that way.”

When asked if Neville had used his name to get attention, he responded: “I think they take advantage of that because they are not stupid. I’m the number one followed guy in the world. It’s not by coincidence.”
