Golf influencer Paige Spiranac has again defended women who have been criticised for over-sexualising themselves with a dig at some of the biggest names in male sport – including Cristiano Ronaldo and David Beckham.
Spiranac, who was voted the World's Sexiest Woman by Maxim, has recently backed female athletes who have been under scrutiny for using their image and social media to boost their profiles.
Among those are US college gymnast Olivia Dunne, who was targeted due to her success after earning a reported $2million-a-year.
Spiranac has doubled down on their comments and suggested male sports stars do the same, singling out the likes of Beckham, Ronaldo and Tom Brady.

In a video on social media titled 'I said what I said', she insists:"There has been a tons of discussion about female athletes and showing off their bodies.
"People are saying 'stop over-sexualising yourself', 'you are taking women back', 'nobody will take you seriously'. I think that is a stinking big pile of s****."
Spiranac went on to highlight the example set by Serena and Venus Williams, Simone Biles and Naomi Osaka inside and outside of their respective sports.
She added: "These women have a lot in common. First of all they are all athletic bada****, two of them are considered the greatest of all time. They have business ventures outside of sport and they have all posed for Sports Illustrated swimsuit. They can actually do it all!
"I know people are thinking a man would never show off his body or over-sexualise himself for attention of for a monetary gain. Are you sure about that?"
Spiranac then posted a series of pictures of male stars with their bodies on show with Michael Jordan, Rory McIlroy and Michael Phelps also in the firing line.
Former Cactus Tour professional golfer Spiranac was a college athlete herself during her time at the University of Arizona and San Diego State.
She has since gone on to forge a successful social media career and currently has 3.7million followers on Instagram.
