‘RHOBH’ Garcelle Beauvais Has Thoughts On Erika Jayne Communicating With Tom
Erika Jayne may have made her feelings about her “Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills” castmate Garcelle Beauvais clear when she threw a copy of Beauvais’ memoir in the trash, but her actions haven’t stopped her co-star from publicly discussing Jayne’s personal life!
On ‘RHOBH’s last season, filmed during the point in time where Jayne filed for divorce from Tom Girardi, the two ladies frequently clashed over Jayne’s reluctance to talk about her personal life with her friends more than she had to.
The duo seem to be on slightly better terms- they even had a scene together in last week’s season premiere- and Beauvais has a better understanding of her friend’s private matters.
Recently, Jayne candidly revealed she and Girardi are still in communication with one another.
The Blast covered her heartfelt confessions about Girardi in a recent interview with Us Weekly. She told the publication, “This was someone who I was married to for over 20 years, and was with like, 23 years. It’s difficult.”
What Beauvais Has To Say About Jayne’s Recent Confession
The pair have indeed progressed a bit since the explosive fights that defined their fickle friendship during ‘RHOBH’s eleventh season.
Beauvais is sympathetic for her co-star’s latest struggles in her personal life.
“It takes awhile, let me tell you,” she told Us Weekly, referring to breaking the habit of communicating with an ex. “It’s not a switch you can just turn on and off because you’re no longer with them… she was with him for a long time…”
She also referred to her own personal experience with divorce to relate to Jayne’s current situation.
Beauvais filed for divorce from ex-husband Mike Nilon in 2010.
“So even with me,” she continued, ‘I love you today and I don’t love you tomorrow.’ It takes time,” Beauvais concluded.
Where Do The Dueling Duo Currently Stand?
There will be no bookmarks put between these ladies and Jayne’s Insta-story that had everyone talking.
“Garcelle has her opinion of me,” Jayne told the publication, “and that’s fine, and it’s really a question for her, not me.”
Making Peace With Girardi’s Current Mental State
Jayne isn’t putting much stock into focusing on her feud with Beauvais. Focusing her attention on moving on from her marriage to Girardi, seems to be her current priority.
She recently elaborated on the mourning process she is going through regarding Girardi’s declining mental state.
According to The Blast’s report, Jayne explained, “I miss the fun, bright, intelligent person that really liked to have a good time and was magic. I miss that, of course. But we all get old, and we all come to this place in our life, and he’s here.”
Who knows where Erika Jayne and the other ladies of the “Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills” will stand by the end of the season, but we can all count on our girl to keep it real!
