Shirley Ballas struggled to hold back the tears in a new video as she congratulated her son Mark Ballas he won Dancing with the Stars.
On Tuesday morning, the Strictly Come Dancing head judge took to her Instagram Story to announce that her son Mark Ballas and his celebrity dance partner, TikTok sensation Charli D’Amelio had won the series.
The 62-year-old dancer told followers in the video that she had stayed up until the early hours of the morning to watch her son – who is a professional dancer on the US show – lift the glitterball trophy.

She told her loyal legion of fans: “So, I've stayed up all night. It’s now 3.00 am in the morning and my son, beautiful son Mark and Charli just won the Mirrorball trophy.
