Actress Marnie Schulenburg passed away at the age of 37.

The Daytime Emmy-nominated actress is best known for her role as Alison Stewart in “As the World Turns” from 2007 to 2010. Deadline reported that the actress had passed away on Tuesday from stage 4 metastatic breast cancer at a hospital in Bloomfield, New Jersey. Kyle Luker at Industry Entertainment confirmed her passing.

Marnie is the wife of actor Zach Robidas, who plays TV journalist Mark Ravenhead on the award-winning HBO series “Succession.” She leaves behind a daughter, Coda, who was born only five months prior to her breast cancer diagnosis in 2020.

The outlet reported that although Marnie was born in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, she had moved to New York City in 2006 to pursue an acting career. Within a year, she was cast as Alison Stewart in “As The World Turns” and was featured in a crossover episode of “The Young and the Restless.” She stayed with the show until its finale in 2010 and was nominated for the Outstanding Younger Actress category of the Daytime Emmys that same year.

Several years later, she appeared in the “Prospect Park” reboot of “One Life to Live.” She also made notable TV appearances in “Elementary,” “Army Wives,” “Blue Bloods,” “Royal Pains,” “City on a Hill,” and “The Good Fight.”
