Former con artist Anna Sorokin, also known as, Anna Delvey wants to host Elon Musk for dinner.

The the-31-year-old, infamous for her masterminding fraudulent schemes to defraud several financial institutions, recently revealed that she has ongoing plans to host several dinner parties and would want the Twitter CEO to be one of the attendees.

The fake German heiress also shared that she plans to use her platform for good causes, citing her interest in criminal justice.

Delvey is currently under house arrest after being released on a $10,000 bond following her arrest for overstaying her visa in 2021. She previously spent two years in jail after being convicted for her numerous fraudulent schemes.

Anna Delvey Revealed What She Likes About Elon Musk

Speaking with Variety, Delvey revealed that she intends to throw several dinner parties and would like to have Elon Musk as one of the guests.

On what she likes about the tech mogul, the former convict shared that his fluid views appeal to her. She also lauded him for being open to admitting he is wrong whenever one of his many ideas is challenged.

“I think what I like about [Elon] is his views are very fluid and constantly changing. So, he doesn’t really have any issues admitting that he’s wrong or changing his opinions without being uptight, as long as it’s on his terms,” she told the publication. “I feel like not a lot of people do that.”

Apart from Musk, Delvey also wants to host other big names like author Bret Easton Ellis and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. However, she did not share the exact timing of when the said dinner parties would be held.

She Wants To Use Her Platform For Good Causes

Elsewhere in the interview, the former con artist shared that her proposed dinner parties would be hosted for charity causes, including supporting organizations like the ACLU and The Marshall Project.

She said, “Nobody ever cares about my thoughts on criminal justice, like how I would want to reform it or make a difference. I feel like it’d be a shame if I were to waste my voice and the attention I’m getting on just a photo shoot.”

Explaining further, Delvey shared she plans to use her fame and growing platform for good causes.

She added, “I’m in this unique position where I actually have a platform, and I have the credibility of somebody who’s actually been through the system as opposed to just being a random famous person who needs a pet cause.”

Delvey is infamous for scheming to defraud banks and other financial organizations into giving her funds to fund her lifestyle of leisure and has since served several years in prison after being arrested in a sting operation in 2017.

Despite the enormity of her actions, the fake German heiress is yet to publicly apologize for her actions, and once said in a New York Times op-ed that she was not sorry for her actions.

However, the 31-year-old who was the subject of Netflix’s “Inventing Anna” – a film about her life of scam – said she found it difficult to adjust to people’s perception of her, especially on social media after her jail term.

“I realize how toxic it could be seen,” she said, per Variety. “if I were in a position of authority, and if I looked at somebody like myself, the younger generation to look at me and say that it’s an okay thing to do. I just felt defiant. I was like, ‘I already did everything that they wanted me to do.’ What else do you want from me?”

Currently, Delvey lives in a New York City apartment where she must remain on an ankle monitor due to her ongoing case with Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

She was arrested in 2021 by ICE, six weeks after finishing her jail time for her fraud charges for overstaying her visa. She remained in their custody until October 2022, released at the time after she paid a $10,000 bond.

In addition to being under house arrest, Delvey signed an agreement to stay off social media. She plans to publish a memoir project and do more for her art in the future.
